Welcome to Clermont Injury and Rehab! We look forward to serving you. Once you’ve booked your appointment, we will email you our new patient paperwork or you can download it from our website so you can complete it in the comfort of your own home. If you’d prefer to fill it out in our office, that’s okay too—our staff can assist if your injuries make it difficult to sit or write.
Your First Visit
Plan on being with us for about an hour at this first visit, as it is quite comprehensive. Our staff will greet you and help with any paperwork or insurance questions. Then you’ll meet with Dr. Husbands for an in-depth consultation about your health history, the accident, and your current injuries or other symptoms. She’ll conduct a thorough examination, including our cutting-edge Zyto scans, which help assess the function of your spine and organs. If we feel X-rays or MRIs are needed, we will refer you out for those.
You will generally receive some type of care at this visit, such as cryotherapy, ultrasound or other therapies to ease your pain. If there are no contraindications, you may receive a chiropractic adjustment at this appointment, but that is determined based upon your examination.
Your Second Visit
We schedule your second visit as soon as possible after the first. At this appointment, we will go over any imaging, explain what we’ve found and how that relates to your injury and symptoms, and lay out our recommendations for care. We’ll let you know how long it will take for you to recover, and explain that your involvement is critical—we are partners, and we will have to work together to get you back to great health.
We’ll also explain all the costs involved. You’ll be here for about 30 minutes for this and all subsequent visits.
